About Me

Hello and Good Day!

I'm Greg Esguerra a .NET Applications Developer, IT Trainer and blogger from Cebu City, Philippines. I started programming using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and MS Access as database several years ago when it was at it's peak and popularity. I really enjoyed programming this legacy software back then just like eating a pizza with a cold iced tea drink. Lol! However as time passed by, I shifted course to the .NET framework because it has several templates for different type of projects and most of the projects that I've worked with were migrated to .NET.

But before focusing my career on software development, I was also an IT Instructor for more than seven years in some popular schools here in Cebu handling Basic Computer Concepts, Java, C++, Visual Basic and Microsoft Office courses. Due to the love I had for Visual Basic, that's the time I decided to focus my time in learning the .NET Framework stack. During my freetime, I also did freelance programming and tutorials with single or limited number of students. With the experience and knowledge gained from both teaching and software development, this blog came into fruition to share what I have learned for the .NET community and students alike.

This website provides information like tutorials, code snippets and real-world problems with solutions related to the .NET Ecosystem particularly database management, web development, desktop applications, mobile applications, windows operating system and business intelligence reporting. I'm also actively participating in VBForums.com (.NET Community Forum) as KGComputers by answering threads or posts, code sharing and interaction among fellow .NET developers. Below are links to my projects repository and personal blog.
